My First Day at an American High School- A Journey of New Beginnings

Introduction to My Journey
Hello everyone, welcome to my YouTube channel! I hope you all are doing great. Today marks the most awaited day of my life since I applied for the exchange program to join an American High School. Finally, that dream has come true, and today is my very first day at my American High School. I don’t know anyone here except my counselor, so I’m going to rely purely on the kindness of strangers.

Meeting My Teachers
The first thing I need to do is meet all of my teachers to figure out my classes and the buildings. Let’s go and explore! My first stop is my anatomy class. I introduced myself to Dr. G, my anatomy teacher, who is originally from India. It was such a pleasant coincidence to meet someone from a neighboring country. We had a warm conversation, and I’m excited to learn anatomy with her for the year ahead.

Next, I headed to my physical education class. I met my coach, who welcomed me warmly. The gym looks amazing, and I’m thrilled to start working out and lifting weights. It’s going to be a great experience!

Navigating the Campus
As I explored the campus, I asked for directions to find my next class. Everyone I met was so kind and helpful, guiding me to the right rooms. I eventually found Miss Tang’s class, where I’ll be learning American history. Miss Tang was very welcoming, and I’m eager to dive into the subject and learn more about American culture and history.

A Warm Welcome from My Teachers
I also met M. Robinson, my advanced algebra teacher. Math is one of my favorite subjects, and I’m looking forward to learning in her class. She was very kind and excited to have me as part of her class.

Finally, I met Mrs. Kar, my English teacher. She extended a warm welcome to me and made me feel at home. She shared some insights about the school and the weather in Arizona, which I’m still adjusting to. It was a pleasure meeting her, and I’m excited to spend the next 10 months learning English in her class.

Reflecting on My First Day
As my first day at an American High School came to an end, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the wonderful experience. I met most of my teachers and even made some American friends. Everyone was so helpful and kind, making my transition smooth and enjoyable.

Looking Ahead
I’m very hopeful for the next 10 months and excited about the journey ahead. Thank you to everyone who helped me figure out my classes and made me feel welcome. I’m looking forward to having a lot of fun and making unforgettable memories.

Thank you for watching, and I’ll see you in my next video!
